It is a scientific fact that fun people have fun friends! Tina and Matt were guests at one of my favorite weddings this year. In fact, Tina caught the bouquet.
It goes to show some wedding traditions should not be ignored. Shortly after the image above, Matt proposed to Tina. Tina and Matt are nothing short of an amazing couple. Their love for each other and life shined through their entire engagement shoot.

Erin and Greg rented an entire resort for a week to celebrate their wedding. How cool is that? They selected the perfect location for an “Up-North” wedding with their closest family and friends.
When Erin and I were discussing wedding plans, she mentioned, “Greg always says if he were sitting in a ditch that he’d want me sitting next to him.” That was the moment I knew I had to create for them, and we were going to end up in a ditch at some point on their wedding day. We found a pretty nice one at that!

When Karen was describing her wedding day to me, she used the words casual, flirty and fun. I couldn’t wait to create for Derek and her. They celebrated an intimate ceremony at Derek’s family’s lake home.
If you look through my blog, you will hear me time and again that is the people that make the wedding day special. Karen and Derek are no exception. We all have the ability to make the world a better place. It is obvious Karen and Derek do through their kind-hearted personalities.

I was doing a little blog maintenance this afternoon and realized, I haven’t posted many engagement sessions in the last year. I promise to be better. I have a number to share with you in the weeks to come. After what felt like an entire month of rain in June, we had the most incredible evening for Christina and Joe’s session. The light simply wouldn’t stop. Beautiful light mixed with a great couple equals wonderful images.
