I always know I am editing a great wedding when I find myself smiling as I work through images all day. Sarah and Kent’s wedding had a wonderful sense of energy. There was a presence of knowing love. Even though their wedding marked my first shoot in the arctic month of October, Sarah and her bridesmaids rocked the blustery, cold weather. Below are a few of my favorites from Sarah and Kent’s day.

At every wedding, there are a number of certainties – rings are exchanged, the couple is married, congratulations are exchanged, and the celebration goes into the night. Yet, every wedding is unique. It is how the story unfolds in those fleeting moments of anticipation, unseen glances, stolen kisses, and uncontrollable joy. Katie and Jeremy’s wedding day was filled with many wonderful moments.

The first thing that struck me when I first met Katie and Jeremy was how important their guests were in their celebration. They put so much thought into including them in their entire weekend. It really showed in all the details they planned.

I started Katie and Jeremy’s coverage at a the groom’s dinner – lawn bowling at Madden’s tennis club.

The guys started the wedding day with gorgeous fall morning on Grand View’s golf course.

The ladies enjoyed a relaxing luncheon.

The entire day was absolutely perfect.

Mikaela and Louis marked my last wedding of the year in Duluth. I am so looking forward to all the great events I have booked in town next year. I seriously believe there is something in the water in Duluth. Every wedding I have photographed there this summer the couples have been amazing. Mikaela and Louis were definitely not an exception.

You can tell a lot by the people one surrounds themselves with. Mikaela and Louis are the best, and their wedding party was one of the funnest groups I have had the privilege of working with ever. They know how to boogie on the dance floor, too.
